Newsprint drawings created to practice various techniques. These drawings are done in various specific levels of detail:

​

Blind Contour: Drawing the basic shape of the subject without looking down at the paper.
Scribble Gesture: Roughly sketching the shape of the subject.

Negative Shapes: Capturing the mass of the negative space around the subject.
Mass: Capturing the general mass of the subject.
Detailed Rendering: Drawing the subject as detailed as possible.

Cross Contour: A detailed rendering, with attention to lines that cross over the subject in 3D space.
Aspect: Magnifying a portion of the subject and drawing it in a detailed manner.
Value: Drawing the subject as detailed as possible, while capturing the value changes in the subject created by light and shadow.
